    POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Despite holding a 1-0 advantage at halftime, the Western Connecticut State University women’s soccer team suffered a 3-2 loss at non-conference foe Vassar College on Wednesday night at Gordon Field. With the loss, the Colonials fell to 1-3-1 overall, while the Brewers improved to 2-1-1.

    RIVERDALE, NY – Rookie midfielder Myah Croze (Bristol, CT) gathered a cross from classmate forward Julia DePalma (Kings Park, NY) and buried a shot into the twine for the second half equalizer as the Western Connecticut State University women’s soccer team played to a double overtime 1-1 tie at the College of Mt. Saint Vincent on Wednesday evening at Marillac Field.

    TROY, NY - Sophomore Kaleigh Panek (Shelton, CT) scored twice and senior Bailey McCollum (Cold Springs, NY) once as the Western Connecticut State University women's soccer team defeated Buffalo State University, 3-0 in the second round of the Engineers Cup at RPI's ECAV Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

    PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The Western Connecticut State University women's soccer program was picked to once again claim the Little East Conference (LEC) title, claiming the top spot in the 2019 LEC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Colonials totaled 61 points and six of the nine first-place votes.
  • Catherine Nathans Cannavan and Melissa Teel To Be Inducted Into LEC Hall Of Fame

    PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced the 12 newest members of its Hall of Fame Friday. Each of these outstanding former student-athletes and coaches will be honored on their respective campuses during the 2019-20 academic year.  Two former Western Connecticut State University great will be inducted this year.  Catherine "Cat" Nathans Cannavan (soccer) and Melissa Teel (basketball) are among 12 former student-athletes and coaches to receive this coveted LEC honor.
