    CASTLETON, VT – Junior guard Shea Tracy (New Britain, CT) tallied 17 points which included five shots from three-point range but it wasn’t enough as the Western Connecticut State University men’s basketball squad’s rally came up short at Castleton University, 75-73, in a Little East Conference battle on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Colonials dropped to 10-6 overall and 4-3 in league play, while the Spartans earned their first-ever conference victory, improving to 2-14 and 1-6.

With the loss, the Colonials moved to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in league play, while the Corsairs improved to 9-6 and 4-2.

Rookie guard Jaheim Young (Brooklyn, NY) also registered a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the Colonials, who improved to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in league play. The Anchormen sank to 11-3 and 4-1.
