    DANBURY, CT – Sophomore guard Ahmod Privott (Middletown, CT) tallied a game-high 17 points while senior forward Fenton Bradley Jr. (Mansfield, CT) tacked on 13 to lead the Western Connecticut State University men’s basketball squad to a 79-47 victory over visiting archrival Eastern Connecticut State University in the Little East Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday night at Feldman Arena. With the win, the Colonials snapped a two-game skid, improving to 5-3 overall and 1-0 in league play, while the Warriors dropped to 2-4 and 0-1.

Baruch edged Coast Guard in the second contest, 65-58. WestConn will host Coast Guard on Day Two of the tournament tomorrow at 4 p.m. Fisher will square off against Baruch at 2 p.m.
