Alex Harrison begins his second season as WestConn's Head Women's Soccer Coach, after five seasons as an assistant for the men's program.  

In his first season, the Colonials went 15-6-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the Little East Conference.  WestConn captured the LEC Tournament crown and made the program's 12th appearance in the NCAA Division III national tournament.

Prior to Western, he coached Brookfield High School boys' soccer and had a stint as a volunteer assistant for Central Connecticut State University's men's soccer.  

He is currently the Director of Coaching for Connecticut Football Club Extreme and runs day-to-day operations at Soccer Extreme.

Harrison was an All-American at CCSU, a two-time Player of the Year and the Rookie of the Year for the Northeast Conference.  

In his sophomore year, he was the NCAA Division I leading goal scorer.  

After graduating from Central in 2007 with a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, he was drafted in the first round, as the sixth pick, to the Milwaukee Wave in the Major Indoor Soccer League.  

Harrison also played for the Wilmington Hammerheads in the United Soccer League.
